One of the best ways to land projects in Internet Marketing is to learn to write copy. Copy is a commercial like you see on TV except you are using words. You can also use video, audio, and images however words on the main foundation of copy.

The words that you write for your clients or even yourself if you create your own products is used to have your readers make a call to action. A call to action is the reader or viewer making a purchase of the product or service that you are writing copy for. You mostly do this by telling the reader how the product or service is going to improve their lives by making something easier to do or solve a problem that they are looking for an answer for.

Another way you can use Internet Marketing for a business is to write your clients email campaign. You can publish a newsletter for your client or yourself and publish a regularly scheduled newsletter on what is new in the company or your business. If you are providing excellent content and people stay subscribed to the “list” you are now building a targeted audience that you can sell to in the future. The reason you may be able to sell to them easier is that you have provided them with valuable information and gained their trust and loyalty by staying subscribed on the list.

Though email has been plagued by spammers it is still a very effective internet marketing tool and used by major corporations throughout the world to update their customers on products and services.

Internet Marketing also has an ugly side as it gets associated with the “work at home” scams. It will be your job to do your diligence and not fall prey to the many tactics out there. This will do nothing but cost you money, time, and frustration.

That is why I like to describe Internet Marketing the way I did in the beginning of the article in looking at the internet as a medium to deliver a message, a strong message for a call to action. This can be a very lucrative business however again you need to do your homework and stay current with advances that companies use to get their message across the internet.
